B.O. and capering seem to figure strongly in these virtual pages.

It must be something in the coffee.

Okay. It's tomorrow. Where's part three?

Jo Jo's piece is going up around 10 p.m. Wednesday Japan Standard Time. There was a misunderstanding over our payment schedule and he responded by witholding the copy and making various threats. The problem has since been resolved to everyone's satisfaction. We now have part three and are carefully proofing and, where necessary, editing it. And it rocks, Mr. Impatient.

My vote is for more people, humans, humanity, joJo, less pop-culture-fear-inspired ravings.
You are deliciously clever, but do you sustain? What if Jo Jo tried a little tenderness?
In the words of the Oak Ridge Boys: "If you want a good and cool drink of water you got to dig a little deeper in the well."

Please forgive me for maintaining this position.

Jenny, I appreciate your comments. I'm just trying to find my way in this world. And yes, I got the fear. And I got the love. It gets all mixed up sometimes. But I can say that when I write, I'm happy. And that sustains me.

All the best,

I see, Jo Jo, that you tried a little tenderness at the end of your story. Time will tell if it was a genius stroke or a clunky intrusion born of a desire to please Jenny, who seems unimpressed and even alarmed by the presence of shallow pop ravings in these shallow pop pages.

Rumor has it that the next review has more humanity (and humans) in it than a poem by a bearded recluse from a western state -- say, Oregon.

Jo Jo,
Of course you are only trying to find your way in this world. Of course you got the love and the fear.

I wouldn't fault you for that.

But do you have the heuvos, Jo Jo?
I wouldn't ask, or care, if I thought not.

Jo Jo,
Please also forgive the the sting in my criticism. In my haste to swash buckles, I am sometimes overfierce, potentially defeating my own porpoise.

P.S.I too have enjoyed sustenance from your wit.

Jenny,

Sometimes I leave the huevos back at the rancheros, but for the most part, I got 'em.

Fierceness and swashbuckling can enliven and enlighten, so your words (which strike me as heartfelt) are welcome. More! More is good.

Happy New Year!

Jo Jo
